Gremlin Productions is very proud to continue our workshop series featuring master photographer Adam Chilson (*Doomsday-Dawn). The first workshop SOLD OUT, and we are now accepting registrations for "Industrial Lighting Magic," the second in the series. We have just confirmed as our Featured Model Gothic icon SCAR. Scar is a coast-to-coast and internationally known Gothic and fetish model. She accepts quite limited and select engagements, so this is a rare opportunity for our participants to shoot with her, and to add to their portfolios images that carry the prestige that comes along with shooting a model of this caliber. Scar is also an accomplished stylist, and will be modeling on set in full-production makeup and hair styling in her own unique character. This workshop will be an all day event on Saturday April 26th that addresses set craft and lighting for metal and industrial themes. Adam will be demonstrating concepts utilizing a number of the actual metal set elements featured in some of his well-known portfolio images.
Topics covered will include making the most of the reflective qualities of metal, avoiding pitfalls and hot spots, lighting metal for textures from shining to grunge, and lighting a model both separately and integrated into a metal/industrial set.
Workshop will include both demonstration/discussion portions, as well as shooting opportunities for each participant with Featured Model SCAR on set. Participants WILL be adding high-level images to their portfolios from this workshop, and registration includes promotional model release for portfolio use of images shot at the workshop.
Registration for this workshop is limited to 8 photographers. Workshop fee of $350 must be paid in advance. I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately. Extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas. I just think about it.
